Far East Consortium secures planning permission for GBP200m Angel Meadow scheme in Manchester
The new scheme will comprise 756 new homes for sale across four buildings, which will border Angel Meadow Park, one of the city’s largest open green spaces.
Angel Meadow forms a key part of the city centre’s NOMA neighbourhood, which sits right on the doorstep of the revamped Victoria station. Spanning 20-acres, NOMA will provide high quality office space as well as new retail and leisure opportunities.

Designed by 5plus Architects, Angel Meadow will incorporate a combination of apartments and townhouses across four plots, centred around the historic Angel Meadow Park on Gould Street, Aspin Lane and Old Mount Street. Landscape architecture is by Planit-IE.
The first phase of Angel Meadow to launch will be plots two and three, which are situated on Aspin Lane. Comprising two apartment buildings which rise to 22 and 17 storeys, the development will incorporate 286, one, two and three bedroom homes with lifestyle facilities including a gym and 24 hour concierge as well as ground-floor commercial space.
Later phases will include a 41 storey landmark residential tower with retail and leisure space on the ground floor and 333 spacious apartments; some of which will feature winter gardens. A landscaped elevated deck above the ground floor will link the park with the new podium via a new series of stepped terraces with incorporated seating areas.
The fourth building has been designed in keeping with surrounding buildings, rising to nine and 12 storeys respectively. The scheme will comprise five three-bedroom townhouses and 131 one two and three-bedroom apartments. A pedestrian walkway will run through the new development, linking the park to the neighbouring buildings, enabling local residents to enjoy Angel Meadow Park.
